As I stood there enjoying the music of Atlas Maior and the noise of the crowd, I found myself regretting that Sheri and I never did stuff like this when we were young. We always thought we'd have time later.
Last night I went to the One-2-One Club to see Kathy and the Kilowatts. I didn't really feel like going out, but I thought if I forced myself to do, I'd fell better about it later. Despite their uptempo R&B and rock-a-billy sound, I felt positively blue. With no one to even share a table, I left just before they ended their first set.
On the way home, I stopped at BBR for a beer. David Dunn and Diana were there, and they invited me to sit with them. We ended up chatting all night as we enjoyed the music and stories of Bob Cheevers. It kinda saved my whole weekend.
