As I posted on FB earlier this morning: Anybody who didn't have a whole lotta fun last night wasn't at the Johnny Cash Lives tribute at B.B. Rovers. Special thanks to Brigitte London for putting this show together and for inviting me to participate. Guest performers included Chris Beirne, Ben E. Brady, Chet O'Keefe, David Harris, Penny Jo Pullus, David Patrick Dunn (and his alter-ego, Buster Gut-Bucket), and self. Great times.

During the "open mic" part of last night's meeting of the Austin Ukulele Society, I performed "Flushed from the Bathroom of Your Heart" to remind folks about tonight's "Johnny Cash Lives" show at B.B. Rovers.
As I stood before the 80 or so members, it suddenly occurred to me that this was probably the largest crowd I'd ever played solo before. Fortunately, the song went over well. Hopefully, a few uke folks might stop by BBR tonight for the show. Had a great time last night at my second open mic at Los Tacos Lalos in Plano hosted by my good friend and sometime bandmate, David Harbaugh.
Sadly, I have no pics of the event to post (this one is one that Randall did during Cousins Weekend), but I had a great time at last night's 101 Club party at B.B. Rover's Cafe & Pub. This is a private affair open only to the (roughly 1,350) folks who have drank over 100 different types of beer at the pub.
