To the studio

I have spent the past three weeks writing and rehearsing my newest song, Too Young to Quit Singing, in preparation for today's trip to Byrd House Studio. After  two-and-a-half hours, I emerged with what I think is a pretty darn good recording of a pretty darn good song.

Tommy said it has an almost John Prine quality to it. For me, it's a love letter to all the friends I've made in and around the Austin music scene who helped me find myself again after Sheri's death.
