That's us playing on the CLYDE stage at Twin Creeks Hall. Fortunately, we had a fairly good crowd, including David Harbaurgh, Will Davenport, Kati DeHaven, Anna Lewis, Jimmy Joe and Chrissie Natoli, Josh and Margaret Ribakove, Jay Dee Hicks and family.

Second Friday of the month is still our Legacy Day. This time, however, I'm thinking of it more as a rehearsal for tomorrow's Kaye Pasa Trio CD release at Twin Creeks.
It's a bit of a drive to go to Bob Case's open mic at Hardtails in Georgetown, but it was fun, and I got to meet the owner, Martha. Gave her a copy of HTH.
Went to Georgetown to see Caleb's senior recital at Southwestern University. Afterward, I played with Hell Belle at Dino's open mic at the Stompin Ground, and played again at Josef's open mic at Rovers.
It was a wet and chilly morning at the Barton Creek Farmers Market, but we managed to get through our set without freezing off our fingers. Tips were surprisingly good. I guess folks either really liked our music or just felt sorry for us having to perform in the rain. Every so often the water collecting on the canopies would reach a critical point resulting in a sudden waterfall in the middle of the stage and audience areas.
Very glad I made it to the German Restaurant (a.k.a. Mercantile Bldg) in Walburg to hear these talented women perform. L-R: Alex Winters, Evelyn Billington, Kaye Reznick, Kate Elizabeth.
Second time to play at the Stompin Grounds open mic. Met Bobbie (McKenzie?), a fiddle player, who was excellent. He and I managed an Austin rehearsal, and we played so well together that a girl named Zee asked afterward how long we'd been playing together. I laughed and told her, "You've seen our entire career!"
Had to pop by Rovers after the Stompin Ground. Once again, it was "hostless," but fortunately, somebody else stepped up to do it, so I only played a few songs, then went on my merry way to Twin Creeks, where Bobby and I played again. Three open mics in one evening is too much for me. Must be a sign of old age. Delivered the Honky Tonk Hymnal to Chrissie and Jimmy Joe at the farmers market this morning. Took a copy to David P. Dunn at the Last Stand Brewery this afternoon, also got to play a few songs with him and Chris Beirne there, too.
I thought Lynette & Lefty were the best at setting the stage, but then Douglas Clyde Martin put this scene together for Clyde's live CD recording at Twin Creeks Hall. Great set (on stage), great set (of music), and great fun for all.
