Last night was my first trip ever to the Twin Creeks Hall, a genuine roadside honky-tonk from the good ol' days when Volente Road was just Ranch Road 2769 and the idea of building a subdivision out there would have been considered insane.
Performed with Paul Teneyuque, and had a great time. Pablo played bass while I stuck to my 12-string. We also got to meet Billy Callery, a great Texas songwriter who actually penned a couple of tunes for Wille Nelson and Jerry Jeff Walker back in the day.
