To wrap up the month on a non-music note, I spent two hours waiting at a Torchy's Tacos to get the chance to spend about one hour with Will and Kati (along with her grandmother Merna) as they passed through Austin en route to San Antonio to see Kati's mom, and then on to Corpus for a wedding.
In other May news, Kaye and I represented the trio (hey, at least we had a quorum) at The Watercrest in Bryan on May 25. The full trio performed in Round Rock on the 26th at Craft & Racked Wine Bar; however, we kinda screwed up. We confused the time with a different gig, and accidentally quit an hour early. Fortunately, we were able to soothe the ruffled feathers later with the help of our good friend, Debbie Panichi.
