Had a great time performing with Kaye Reznick and Paul Teneyuque last night at B.B. Rover's open mic. We got together earlier that day to practice a few tunes and work out who should do what and when.
I opened with a few solo songs, and then Paul and I did a couple of songs together with Paul on bass. We yeilded the stage to Kaye for a few songs, and then we joined her for a few songs as a trio. Kaye and Paul did a couple of songs together, and we wrapped up with Paul playing some of his songs solo.
Along the way, Joseph (another BBR open mic host) entertained us with his unique mix of humor and music, and Kaye's son also performed a few for us as well.
It was a perfect ending to a busy four days of music for me. The only "fly in the ointment" came after I got back home and somehow hurt my lower back while unloading my 12-string from the car.
