Unlike our first time there a couple of weeks ago (with Paul), not all of the bikers were outback smoking, so this time I finally got to perform David Harbaugh's wonderful song "Hog Heaven" for bikers. They LOVED IT!
I opened by challenging them to listen with single strums and then pointing at the biggest bikers in the place singing, "Hog Heaven (pause to point), Hog Heaven (point at the next guy), let's rally in Hog Heaven!" By the time I hit the fist chorus, they were hooked.
Kaye joined me to sing harmony on "Guilty Pleasure," which proved to be another biker crowd favorite. I also played blues harp for Kaye on "Love Me Like a Man" and "Woman Who Makes You Smile." All in all, a great night.
