David said, "Ladies first," and sent this video of us playing Kaye Reznick's song, Right Shining Man. Thanks, Dave.
Last Friday, the Kaye Pasa Trio journeyed to David Patterson's Treehouse Studio in Buda to video a few songs. We LOVE the way that room sounds, and David did a great job capturing us.

The past week and a half have been a very busy time for The Kaye Pasa Trio. We performed together in eight out of the past 10 days.
Sept 08 at The Legacy in Leander Sept 09 at Hole in the Wall in Austin Sept 10 at Kaye's party Sept 11 OFF Sept 12 at B.B. Rovers in Austin Sept 13 at German Restaurant in Walburg Sept 14 at Stompin Grounds in Austin Sept 15 at Treehouse Studio in Buda Sept 16 OFF Sept 17 at Twin Creeks Icehouse in Austin I wish we always keep this busy. Kaye posted that she heard Beer and Pretzels for Communion on the radio today while driving in Georgetown. I hope all this fame doesn't go to our heads.
The Kaye Pasa Trio released a new video today for their song "Leave Me Alone," by Paul Teneyuque. CLICK HERE.
Kaye and I made the trek to Bryan for our second "double gig" at Watercrest. Dark clouds to the SE coming and going, but somehow we managed to miss most of the rain on our way back to Austin.
We stopped at The Black Sparrow in Taylor and spoke with the owner, Shannon about the trio playing there. As we walked back to our car, I spotted Ella Reid on her way into the Texas Beer Company across the street. Taylor suddenly appeals to me as a possible next residence. Kaye and I represented the trio at the Hard Luck Lounge. Hurricane Harvey is on the way, and there was a threat of rain all evening making it a very hot, sticky outdoor gig.
Tonight we played at Cherry Creek Catfish in Leander. In the bad news department: The outdoor stage wasn't ready yet, so we played inside. In the good news department: The outdoor stage wasn't ready yet, so we played inside...away from the triple-digit heat outside.
We had a lot of fun, and hope they'll have us back soon. Lynette & Lefty week continued tonight with the duo playing the Broken Spoke. Started off slow, but once the crowd showed up, it was another great L&L show.
They're staying with me until Friday, with one more gig for them in town this week at Typhoon Texas in Pfluggerville. Funny that it seems like everyone we know has played out there. KPT played last Friday, CLYDE played it on Saturday, and now L&L. The Kaye Pasa Trio traveled out to Luckenbach, Texas, to join friends Lynette & Lefty for an evening under the Pickin' Tree. This has been unchecked on my bucket list for too long, and I'm glad I finally did it. Couldn't have picked (pun intended) a better time being surrounded by friends. Absolutely great night!
