Wasn't my night to host the open mic, but I thought I'd stop by just to play my cuatro for a few songs. Whoever was supposed to host didn't show up, and Overdue Bill took the opportunity to use his sound system. I arrived about 20 minutes into the show, and Bill assumed I was supposed to be the host.
The HUGE CROWD included a large contingency of Round Rock High School kids and their parents. I counted 78 people inside the bar at one point, and all but six of them were there for the open mic (mainly for a girl named Sierra).
Before leaving for Rovers, I made a last minute decision to leave the 12-string at home and only take my cuatro. Kinda kicking myself for that.
